Shayne Elliott is Group Managing Director, Institutional.

In this role, Shayne will oversee all businesses that deal with ANZ's large business, corporate and institutional customers.

Shayne joined ANZ in June 2009. Prior to this, Shayne was the Head of Business Development, EFG Hermes, the largest investment bank in the Middle East. Previously, Shayne was Chief Operating Officer, responsible for developing corporate strategy, balanced scorecard and goals program, and implementing governance and business management processes.

Shayne was previously with Citigroup where he held various senior positions across geographies and business sectors over the course of 20 years. Some of the roles he held during his time at Citigroup include: CEO Global Transaction Services Asia Pacific, CEO Corporate Bank Australia/NZ & Country Corporate Officer, Vice President Strategic Planning New York, Head of Investor Derivative Sales London, and Head of NZ Derivatives Sales and Trading.

Shayne holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Management Studies and Finance from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
