A few of our sponsorships;
Sport is a way of life for so many Australians, either through participation as a spectator watching your favourite team on the weekend. Some of our well-known sports sponsorships include:

Australians are passionate about their sport and we see this partnership as a sign of ANZ's continuing commitment both to New South Wales and to all levels of sport in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2008 a new elite netball competition was launched - the ANZ Championship.
The ANZ Championship consists of 69 games played over 17 weeks across Australia and New Zealand.
In 2009 games will be broadcast live on both Channel 10 Australia and Sky Sports New Zealand.
ANZ is pleased to be supporting this leading sport for women's participation and we look forward to the continued growth of Netball across the Tasman as a result of the competition.

ANZ has recently become Principal Sponsor of the Archibald Prize for the next 2 years beginning with the 2010 exhibition.
The Archibald Prize in Sydney and regional NSW draws an annual audience over 150,000, which presents a significant opportunity for ANZ to showcase its new global brand.
ANZ has a long history of supporting the arts and community sectors, and The Archibald Prize offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an annual event bringing fine arts to the community at large.

In many ways it is probably still best understood as a celebration of Sydney and its style and energy; reflecting the confidence, diversity and vigour of one of the world's most beautiful cities
For three weeks each January, the Festival offers a rich program of around 80 events involving upwards of 500 artists from Australia and abroad covering dance, theatre, music, visual arts, cross media and forums.

The aim of the Fellowship is to provide financial support to young artists following their postgraduate course, during the early part of their professional career.
Australians are unique in the way in which we come together to help those in times of disaster and those in need. ANZ is proud to support the following community and charitable organisations:

The funds raised go towards cancer research, education and support services. ANZ customers and staff help Cancer Council raise around $8 million each Daffodil Day.
If you think the one in two that gets cancer is one too many, then please buy your Daffodil Day merchandise at your local ANZ branch.
Visit the Daffodil Day website for more information.

It provides an opportunity for our NSW staff to volunteer with the animals, and also for our customers to take advantage of some great offers during the month of March.

ANZ supports the RFDS Wings for Life Appeal through sponsoring one of their PC-12 aircraft, staff volunteering support, and other corporate fundraising functions.

ANZ has enjoyed a strong relationship with the Mater since at least 1958, when financing the completion of the construction of the Mater Mothers' Hospital.
In parallel with our core banking relationship, we have recognised importance to the community and support the Mater through various fund-raising initiatives and concessional banking.
ANZ is committed to developing relationships with key industries and our customers, and supports the following:

ANZ industry experts are often invited to present on relevant topics at this event.
In addition to the main Congress, ANZ also sponsors a business breakfast during the event. This breakfast features a presentation by a prominent businesswoman. Past speakers include Margaret Jackson and Elizabeth Proust.

The Urban Development Institute of Australia (QLD) is one of the State's most successful and credible industry bodies, a non-profit organisation representing all segments of the development industry.
The UDIA (QLD) State Conference is an opportunity for the industry to come together and address key trends and issues.
Speakers are selected for their insight into a range of topics identified to be of immediate relevance to the wider industry.
ANZ has been a proud sponsor of this event for over 15 years and the sponsorship reflects our commitment to the property and development industry.
The Australian Women in Leadership Census measures the status of women on boards and women executive managers in Australia's top 200 organisations listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Applying the business principle of what gets measured, gets done, the Census is designed to establish accurate statistics to enable international benchmarking.
ANZ's support of the census is yet another reflection of our commitment to excellence, and diversity.
