Maximise your savings

Have a portion of your salary directly deposited into your savings account each pay day.
Keep your savings separate to your everyday account.
Stick to your budget.
Always move larger amounts of money into an account that earns higher interest like an ANZ Term Deposit.
Consider placing a lump sum into an account in order to earn a higher interest rate.

Minimise your fees

Reduce the number of accounts you have.
Use "fee free" services where possible.
