ANZ Access Select  - an everyday online bank account

ANZ Access Select is an everyday online account suitable for customers who prefer banking online rather than over the phone or in a branch. 

Manage your account online and enjoy unlimited ANZ Internet Banking Transactions for a monthly account service fee of $2 a month1. Plus, with an ANZ Access Visa Debit card5 you get the added convenience of access to the worldwide Visa network allowing you to shop online, over the phone and overseas with your own money. You can also use your card to withdraw cash and pay bills.

To open an ANZ Access Select account, you must:

  • be an Australian resident, with an Australian address who can complete the ANZ Customer Identification Process in Australia upon opening the account or be an existing ANZ customer.

If you are an international student, currently overseas, but planning to come to Australia, you can apply for an ANZ Access Advantage account using the non-Australian resident form.

  • With Visa Debit5 access, you can use your own money online, over the phone and overseas
  • Enjoy the added security of ANZ Falcon™ fraud monitoring your ANZ Access Visa Debit card transactions - even when you’re shopping overseas or online. All transactions are automatically protected by ANZ Falcon™ which monitors your transactions for unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Enjoy unlimited ANZ Internet Banking Transactions (as defined in the ANZ Personal Banking Account Fees and Charges (PDF 388kB) booklet) for an account service fee of just $2 a month2
  • ANZ Visa payWave, a new contactless payment feature on the ANZ Access Visa Debit card allowing you to pay for purchases under $100 without swiping, signing, or entering a PIN at any merchants who have a contactless terminal.
  • Choose from 3 card colours.

If you would like to add an ANZ Access Visa Debit card to your account, please either visit your local ANZ branch or call 1800 008 177 Monday - Friday, 8am-8pm (AEST).

ANZ Access Select is covered by the Australian Government Deposit Guarantee4.

1. Fees may apply including overseas transaction fees.

2. Additional ANZ Transactions charged as: Electronic Transactions $0.50 each, Staff Assisted Transactions $2.50 each, Cheque Transactions $0.50 each. Other fees may apply (including non-ANZ ATM operator fees, overseas ATM fees and overseas transaction fees). Please refer to the ANZ Personal Banking Account Fees and Charges (PDF 444kB) booklet for definitions of ANZ Transactions, Electronic Transactions, Staff Assisted Transactions and Cheque Transactions, and for fees and charges that apply.

3. You may be charged a separate fee by the operator of the non-ANZ ATM that you accept when you proceed with the balance enquiry or withdrawal at the non-ANZ ATM.

4. Deposit accounts with ANZ are guaranteed by the Federal Government without charge. From 1 February 2012, deposits other than certain term deposits will be guaranteed to $250,000. The guarantee applies to the total balance held in one or more ANZ deposit accounts by each legal entity, subject to the applicable limit. For further information please refer to the Financial Claims Scheme.
