Hints and tips

How can I check that I've selected the right account for making a payment?
This can be done when using an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. When selecting an item from a list, the Apple Safari mobile browser has a default setting that displays the list items at the bottom of the web page.

Some of these list items may be truncated based on the number of characters required. This may make it difficult to select the appropriate account when doing a funds transfer, paying bills or making a Pay Anyone transaction.

If you are unsure which account you have selected, you can view the full wording by holding down your finger on the text. The Apple Safari mobile browser will then display the full wording of the selection.
Can I make it easier to enter my account details on the keyboard?
If you find it difficult to type on the iPhone keyboard, Apple has a neat feature to make it easier. By rotating the device to a landscape, you can get a much bigger keyboard for entering account and payment details.

Some users may also find it easier in landscape view as you can use two hands for typing - one on each side. Just make sure you rotate the device before the keyboard is on the screen, otherwise it will stay in portrait mode.
How can I view the description in my transaction history?
In portrait mode the transaction history displays in a truncated form. This is represented by the following characters "-". If you wish to see the full wording, you can tap on the transaction and the item will expand. Alternatively by rotating the device, all the transaction listings will automatically expand to display the full text.
Is there a simple way to fill in the fields for Pay Anyone and Transfer Funds?
For Apple Safari browsers only - when entering data, the Safari browser has a tabbing option that allows you to move from field to field without scrolling through the page. This feature makes transferring funds and paying anyone a whole lot easier.

To tab from field to field, simply select the first field on the web page. This will bring up the keyboard. On the keyboard there is a "Previous" and "Next" button, which when selected takes you to the next field on the page.
How can I print a receipt or transaction record?
For Apple Safari browsers only - Whilst users won't be able to directly print off a receipt or transaction record, they can take a screen shot at any stage throughout the process. This is useful for keeping a pay anyone receipt or lodgement number.

To take a screen shot, hold the home button and press the top/sleep button. The screen will flash and the picture will be saved to the camera roll. To access the camera roll, go to the home screen and select the images icon.
